ABOUT ME

I started watching anime at a young age with Naruto, but I never really thought of it as anything more than something I'll just watch because it's on late at night before I slept. 

It wasn't until I reached middle school that I read manga (Japanese comics) which kickstarted my love for Japanese culture.

Eventually, I started watching anime because not every anime had a manga option. Now, I don't have time to explore all the upcoming manga, so I watch anime because there are usually series that air with the change of the season, giving me a variety of shows to choose from without devoting too much of my time on what I want to watch.

Though anime has a bad reputation as "childish" or "immature" it's really just another medium to tell a story. Like many non-animated shows, there are good ones and bad ones, and I'm confident that if someone who thought poorly of them gave one a shot, they would find them enjoyable.
